New for 2024 is the Brian’s Optik X4 junior goalie catch glove. The break of the Optik 4 glove has a 40-degree closure.  The internals of the Optik X4 junior catch glove has been redesigned for better closure. We can easily say that this is one of the easiest junior gloves right off the shelf to open and close.

Also, a great feature of the X4 junior catch glove is the size of the glove.  Compared to other junior gloves on the market today, the Optik X4 is a bit smaller.  This makes glove control much easier for smaller goalies or young goalies with small hands.  The Optik X4 is also a higher quality junior catch glove compared to others on the market today.

The Optik 4 catch glove will continue to use a traditional wrist strap.  This makes tightening and loosening the glove much less complicated than the smart dial system on the pro models.

Brian’s also did a great job of designing the glove to cover pucks along the ice with minimal gaps.  Many gloves create big gaps when trying to seal glove to the ice while covering the puck.  This allows the puck to move out of the glove and create dangerous and unnecessary scoring chances.  Brian’s built this glove in a way that eliminates these gaps and keeps the puck covered.
