When the pace picks up in the crease, the CCM TACKS XR90 junior goalie skates are ready to keep your young goalies sharp, stable, and in control.
The CCM XR 90 is their top-of-the-line CCM junior goalie skate. It provides a lot of the comfort and support of the pro level skate in the junior category. The XR 90 level will have longer overall durability and more comfort features compared to the XR 70. It comes down to how many times a week the goalie plays and the comfort level they are looking for. If they are an everyday player, playing 4 to 7 days a week, the XR 90 is probably the way to go. If you are the 2 to 3 day a week player, you can’t go wrong with the XR 70.
CCM will continue to use a 10F27 profile which will create this range of movement. The 10F27 will also provide a more aggressive, forward leaning position for the goalie. This will put the goalie to be on the balls of their feet and create a more natural aggressive stance.
