Bauer Supreme Fuse Pro Goalie Leg Pads
The Bauer Supreme goalie line has always been Bauers number one pad at the pro level for years. This is because the Supreme line is generally a stiffer option than the Vapor lines. However, we must mention that a lot of these pro goalies tend to be on the taller side and the stiffer option tends to work better with taller goalies versus shorter goalies. The solution to this problem – build the pads any way you like with the Bauer Pro Custom options. A goalies can build a stiff pad, a soft pad, a Vapor pad with a Fuse graphic – anything you like.
A stock Fuse pad does not come nearly as stiff as it did back in the Supreme Mach era. Although stiffer than a Vapor pad, a stock Supreme Fuse comes in a mid-flex which still has some flexibility – particularly below the knee. From the bottom of the knee through the thigh rise, the pad does keep a stiffer feeling. The core comes with the Rebound Boast Core which produces one the most explosive rebounds on the goalie leg pad market,
The outer skin will continue to use the SLD3R skin. This has been shown to have great slide ability and also has better long-term durability.
Bauer will continue to use the Stabilislide knee block system on the stock Fuse goalie pads although the shape has been altered a bit from the Shadow. The Slabilislide knee block has been proven to provide greater stability to the goalie in the butterfly position and also moving laterally in the butterfly slide techniques and also provides a better overall seal to the ice surface. The stock knee wing on the Supreme Fuse is removable, so if the goalie prefers the knee strapping to be angled versus behind the knee – this flap can be easily removed. There are four variations of the knee wing that can be custom ordered.
Bauer Fuse has changed the Stabili-Calf system for 2026. The new Fuse Stabili-Calf has gone to a single bracket design versus a double bracket design on the previous Shadow pads. This was done to bring the calf closer to the leg and give the goalie better support when they are in their various butterfly techniques.
The strapping system on the Bauer Supreme Fuse leg pads features the new control lock system. The Control Lock strapping is a bit stronger than the previous Tune-Fit strapping system. The name speaks for itself as it locks the lower leg in place more so than the Tune-Fit which had more elastic and stretch to it.
The Supreme Fuse will have a new recoil boot system. Instead of using a soft boot flex, the new recoil system will be slightly stiffer, but when the goalie loads the ankle and pushes, the recoil boot will help create power in this push by acting as a spring-loaded boot. The boot will come stock with the 120-degree angle – the same as the Shadow.
In the toe area, Bauer will continue to use Pro Elastic Toe Tie on the stock models. This new toe tie system allows for greater adjustability in the bungee cord system without having to take the entire toe tie system apart. There are four settings on the toe bridge that a goalie can choose from on the stock model. If a goalie prefers skate lace, it can be changed in a matter of minutes.
Bauer leg pads do run smaller than Vaughn and CCM. So, if you are a 34+ in a Vaughn or a CCM, more than likely you will be a 35+ in a Bauer. Please reference our goalie sizing guide for proper sizing instructions.

Bauer Supreme Fuse Pro Goalie Catch Glove
Building off the extremely successful Supreme Shadow catch glove; the Supreme Fuse has been built with minimum changes because the Shadow was a very popular glove for Bauer. One of the changes that Bauer made to the Supreme Fuse Catch glove is a reinforced fused double t pocket. This was changed simply to add durability and added control. Another small change was a hybrid skate lace/polyester catching pocket. Again, this was changed to pad durability and better puck catching control. A third change was made to the backside of the glove. Baier used a molded aerolite material to the backhand of the glove to add protection from slashing when a goalie is covering the puck.
The cuff of the Fuse will continue to have the CURV composite reinforcement. The cuff has a wide design which allows for maximum wrist mobility without interfering with the chest protector.
The glove closure of the Fuse will have the same as the past generation Supreme catch gloves with a 75-degree break, also considered Bauer’s 600 break. Combined with the double t pocket, the 75-degree closure makes the Fuse glove very easy to open and close right off the shelf. In the palm area of the Fuse catch glove. A stock Supreme glove has a 600-degree break, a stock Vapor glove has a 590-degree break, and both gloves can be custom ordered with a 580-degree break.
Bauer will continue to use the DCT – Defense Cloud Tech padding. This is lighter and more protective than pervious Supreme glove generations. The inner palm will continue to use the CatchGrip+ material. This material adds a tackier feel to the inner palm which gives a goalie more control – particularly in the fingers and fingertips.
The Bauer Supreme Fuse is a pro level catch glove. Recommended for 5 to 7 uses per week.

Bauer Supreme Fuse Pro Goalie Blocker
Bauer blockers are widely considered one of the most comfortable blockers with a crazy amount of rebound pop off the face of the blocker. Building off the extremely successful Supreme Shadow pro blocker, the Supreme Fuse will use the new SL1D3R skin technology. This is a one-piece thermoformed skin that is lightweight and extremely durable.
The palm of the Supreme Shadow blocker will use the 14.5 Connekt+ palm with DCT foam in the finger protection This equates to more stick control, better feel and better overall performance. With stick handling being a must for goalies in today’s game, the blocker palm is vital to stick handling success.
The profile of the Fuse blocker has a thin profile with a Curv Composite blocker board that generates extremely active rebounds off the face of the blocker.
The cuff opening on the Supreme Fuse blocker has a redesigned the Range of Motion (ROM) design which has an asymmetrical design that allows for maximum wrist mobility. Again, with stick handing at a premium in the new age of goaltending, every little detail becomes vital to a goalie’s success. With the mobility the Fuse blocker provides, we feel this gives a goalie their best chance for success in both save techniques and stick handling techniques.
The Bauer Supreme Fuse is a pro level blocker. Recommended for 5 to 7 uses per week.
