Brian’s Optik X4 Junior Goalie Leg Pads – Special Edition
The new Brians Optik X4 junior goalie leg pads are designed for a high-level youth goalie who is looking for a higher end junior leg pad.
Building off the success of the previous Brians Optik pads, the Optik X4 leg pads utilize the OptiSlide inner edge which is layered with Brian’s Primo material. Known for its durability, strength and super-fast sliding surface – the Primo material is extremely popular. Not only is their Primo material found underneath, but you’ll find it on the top edge, inner thigh rise, boot strap pocket and lower calf wrap.
The Brian’s Optik X4 junior pad has a lot of pre-mold curve to the pad which makes it a good option for a goalie with a medium width butterfly. The shin of the pad had been reinforced which gives it explosive rebounds off the face of the pad.
New for 2024 is a new calf strapping system. The redesigned calf strap now has three adjustment settings so a goalie can truly customize their fit. The calf area can easily be adjusted for a tight fit or a loose fit depending on the goalie’s preference.
A popular feature that is caried down from the Optik 4 is the MAX core option. The Max Core for a goalie who like the pre-mold shape of the Flex Core but wants the stiffness of the FLY Core. Each core comes with a flexible boot which has become the industry norm since is allows for easier recovery regardless of the goalie’s style.
The Optik X4 comes with the smart strap bungee toe tie. This is an easy attachment system that simply Velcro’s together. For goalies who prefer a skate lace toe tie, it can be substituted very easily on the Optik X4 pad.
