CCM Tacks Senior Goalie Blocker – Special Edition
The Tacks is a new goalie name for CCM in 2026. All new for 2024 is the CCM Axis F9 Senior Goalie Blocker. For the first time in many years, CCM has redesigned their goalie blocker. The new CCM Tacks Blocker will feature the LITECORE in the blocking board. This material is incredibly lightweight and adds an explosive pop off the face of the blocker.
The palm of the CCM Tacks Blocker has also been redesigned to allow for more comfort and mobility when the goalie is stick handling. The Hexa Palm is a lightweight and very comfortable palm with mesh finger gussets. This lightweight material is not only durable but dries quicker than a traditional palm. It also gives the goalie a better feel on the stick compared to older, thicker palms. The pointer finger of the palm has added HD foam at the tip while the rest of the fingers have full wrap around protection.
The sidewall of the CCM Tacks Blocker will be a stiff sidewall which is important to the blocking area when a goalie rolls their wrist during a save or skating movement. If a goalie turns their wrist making a save, the sidewall will not cave in and allow pucks to push through the blocker for untimely goals.
The CCM Tacks Blocker has a centered position which gives the blocker its most balanced feel.
