The shell construction of the X8 utilizes multiple layers of high quality fiberglass to create a shell that is very rigid and light weight. This rigid shell is lined with high-impact absorbing padding providing protection from severe forces helping to reduce concussions . When SPORTMASK set out to design the new X8, we didn’t only want to meet our customers expectations; we wanted to blow them away! The new X8 mask is largely based on its big brother, the T3, while offering a more affordable alternative for goalies not wanting all the features of the more expensive T3.
