True Catalyst Junior Goalie Blocker

The True Junior Blocker has a smaller size proportion for a young goalie.  Compared to a Vaughn or CCM junior blocker, it is smaller.  We would say it is borderline youth/junior sized. This is great for goalies with really small hands but need the quality of a junior blocker versus a youth blocker.

On to the backside of the True Catalyst junior blocker, the cuff area on the has been segmented to allow for maximum wrist mobility.  Wrist mobility is extremely important for holding the stick and learning how to stick handle for young goalies.  The finger protection of the Catalyst junior blocker has full wrap around protection with the pointer finger being separated for extra finger flexibility.  The thumb area has a soft pillow separating the thumb from this outer area.

The weight of the Catalyst junior blocker comes in an extremely light 1.2 pounds.  Especially the blocker side, it is very important for a young goalie to have a light blocker as it helps distribute the weight of the goalie stick and give the body a more natural center balance.
