The Vaughn 7000 “Kipper Spec” glove is one of the more iconic old-school Vaughn catchers, modeled after the preferences of NHL goalie Miikka Kiprusoff. It was based on the original Velocity V1 platform and became known for its wide, flat presentation and unique closure feel.
This glove has a very flat thumb mold design, which allows the glove to open (pancake) out to the largest possible blocking surface. The 7000 glove helps take extra net space away with its design which is very valuable for goalies looking to maximize net coverage.
