Vaughn SLR4 Pro Senior Goalie Catch Glove – Stock Version

There are some changes to the SLR glove for 2024.  Most notably, the SLR4 catch glove will have a 60-degree break.  Previously the SLR3 had a 75-degree break.  We feel this glove most closely resembles what most people call a 590 break.  The SLR4 glove opens much wider than past generations. The older SLR catch gloves would have a longer/narrower feel and look.  The SLR4 has a very open pancake design which takes up more usable net coverage. The SLR4 also comes much more broken in than years past without sacrificing protection.  The SLR4 glove comes with an extra layer of protection in the palm yet opens and closes with ease off the shelf.  Also, the T of the catch pocket has also been reinforced on the SLR4 catch glove.

Vaughn has a flared wrist design and also moved the wrist strap closer to the goalie’s hand.  This will allow for more wrist mobility compared to the older models.

Vaughn SLR4 gloves are still a heat moldable glove.  Do not use boiling water to break this glove in.

Also of note, Vaughn has dropped the Ventus name off the SLR4 line.  This series will now be referred to SLR4 not Ventus SLR4.
